Solution :-

Let us assume that, originally the vendor have Rs.x .

so,

→ Total pairs of shoes he buy = 20 pairs .

then,

→ CP of each pair of shoes = Rs.(x/20)

now,

→ New CP of each pair of shoes = Rs.{(x/20) - 25}

and,

→ Total pair of shoes he buy now = 20 + 2 = 22 pairs

A/q,

→ 22{(x/20) - 25} = (x - 70)

→ 22(x - 500)/20 = (x - 70)

→ 22x - 11000 = 20x - 1400

→ 22x - 20x = 9600

→ 2x = 9600

→ x = Rs.4800 (Ans.)

Hence, originally the vendor have Rs.4800 .
