Solution :-

A string of length is 36cm

Area of the square is (S×S)

So,

 \bf \red ⟶36cm \times S _{(side \: of \: the \: square)}

\bf \red ⟶36 \times 36

\bf \red ⟶1296cm

Area of the square is 1296cm.
