A string which is 1m long, can withstand a maximum tension of 8 kg.wt. A stone of mass 0.5 kg is tied at one end of the string and whirled round in a horizontal circle with a uniform angular acceleration. If the stone starts from rest and the string breaks just when the stone has completed 100 revolutions, find the value of its uniform angular acceleration.?

Answer: angular acceleration is equal to 0.1248rad/s²

Explanation:

As angular acceleration is - final angular velocity - initial angular velocity divided by time.

As initial angular velocity is zero so angular acceleration is equal to final angular vilocity.

Note - we have to take frequency as 100 rpm
