Here's Ur answer..
When a strip of zinc (zn) metal is placed in copper sulphate solution (Cuso4) then displacement reaction will take place.
Displacement reaction is a chemical reaction in which a more reactive metal displaces a less reactive metal.
And we know that zinc is more reactive metal as complete to copper.
So zinc will displace copper from the copper sulphate solution and it will form then zinc sulphate solution + copper.
Word equation :-
CuSo4 + zn → ZnSo4 + cu
