Volume flow rate = Area of the figure * Velocity of the water flowing through it.
Volume flow rate=(10*1.2)*(4kmph)
Convert the velocity into m/sec
4kmph=4*1000metres/3600seconds
=(10/9)m/second
Volume flow rate=12*10/9=13.333m^3/sec
We know that 1m^3=1000litres
Therefore volume flow rate=13.333*1000=13333.333litres/sec
For 1 minute=60 seconds the volume of water flow through it=13333.33*60
=8,00,000litres
