A student cannot see clearly a chart hanging on the wall placed at a distance of metre from his eye .Name the defect. list 2 causes. How can we correct it?

the name of the defect is hypermetropia means he has nearsightedness.

To correct it he must wear convex lens.

And eat lots of vegetables especially green leafy vegetables.

The name of this defect of vision is myopia or short sightedness.
Two causes of it are as follows
1. Elongated eye ball
2. High converging power of the eye lens or short focal length.
It can be corrected by using a concave lens.
