according to the law of refraction angle of incidence will be equal to angle of emergence
therefore angle of emergence will be 30
and in second case it will be 45

hello there ,

sin i / sin r = refractive index

sin 30 / sin r = 1.5 ( beacuse refractive index of glass is 1.5 ) -- equation 1

also ,

sin 45/ sin r = 1.5 -- equation 2

so solving equation 1 ,

sin r = 0.5/15 = 1/3

and solving equation 2 ,

sinr = 0.707/1.5

on solving we get ,

so r = 20° and r = 28°
