In the laboratory he determines that the volume of the rock by placing the rock in a graduated cylinder with 50 mL of water and watched the water rise to 72.7 mL. as the the water level rises by 22.7 ml so the volume of the rock should be 22.7ml (from archemedes law) now take volume to m3 and take the mass to lg and multiply them that should be the density
