This is your answer dude!!

Answer: As you know, the food is a substance for living being's growth. The food is fresh, but sometimes also pale. That student had left a bit of food in his lunch box, and forgot it open for the whole WEEKEND! So, the food will get totally rotten and the bacteria and worms would be eating it.

Hence, the food will be pale after keeping it in a lunch box for so many days.

(Moral (Not to write it!) :- Don't ever forget to keep the leftover food in lunch boxes, or it will get pale, and would be very hazardous to you and your family!)
