A student found a fruit containing seeds. To figure out its dispersal adaptation he did the following experiment.

I. The fruit sunk when placed in water

II. When he threw the fruit into air, it dropped immediately

III.After he placed it on his socks, it remained firmly attached

What is the best method of dispersion for the seeds of this plant?

as in

1st case the fruit sank in water which indicates the seed will also sink and thus new plant wont be able to grow this way

in 2nd case the seed was not so light to be able to carried away by wind so this way is also not possible.

but in 3rd case the seed got stuck well and would be able to travel long distances and so thus this is the correct way
