a student has a sample of 200g of sugar. for 200g of sucrose there are 84g of carbon. Based on Dalton's atomic theory, how much carbon will be there in 300 g of sucrose? ​

AS we know according to law of constnat proportions of the 7th postulate of daltons atomic theory

=200:84 =300:x

=200x= 84*300 (cross multiplication)

= x     = 25200/ 200

x      = 126g

∴300 g of sucrose needs 126 grams of carbon
