A student has been collecting silver coins and copper coins day he observed a black coating on silver coins and green coating on copper coins.give the chemical name of black and green coating.how are they formed

Haye mate!! Here is ur answer...

U will found black coating on silver coin bcoz oxides of silver is of black in colour and green coating on copper bcoz oxides of coppre is of green in colour . They form due to corrosion

4Cu+O2----->2Cu2O green colour

2Ag+2H2S----->Ag2S+2H2 black colour
