☝️First, the refracted ray bends towards to normal ray and the emergent ray is parallel to the incident ray.

✌️Second, Within the experimental error, angle of incidence=angle of emergent.

The conclusions that the student will draw based on his experiment are:

  • The incident ray, refracted ray and normal, all lie in the same plane.

  • The incident ray and the refracted ray are on opposite side of the normal

  • sin i / sin r  = constant

  • Angle of Incidence = Angle of Emergence

Hope it helps you...
