a student has two resisters 2Ω and 3Ω,she has to put one of them in a circuit, which total has 9A. which one should she use?

here is the solution

let R² be 2Ω

so 1/Req = ¼ + ½

1/Req = ¾

Req = ⁴/3

now by ohms law R = V/I

I = V/R

I = 12 / ⁴/3

I = 9A
