A student has two resistors-2 and 3 22. She has to put one of them in place
of R2 as shown in the circuit. The current that she needs in the entire circuit is
exactly 9A. Show by calculation which of the two resistors she should choose.

Explanation:

since,, V=IR.

Given, V= 12 and I = 9...

So, R = V/I

Therefore R = 12/9 ; implies 4/3...

Now in circuit parallel combination of resistors :

Therefore, R equivalent should be 4/3.

which means 4 and R2 combination should be 4/3 ..

So that is 2 ohm.
