A student is not getting the results for his experimental set-up to show that, germinating seeds release CO2 during respiration. Give reasons.

There could these possible reasons and it's precautions.

1. The setup should be airtight.
2. The lime water is to be prepared fresh.
3. The dead seeds are to be coated with antiseptics otherwise the bacteria will perform anaerobic respiration.
