twig is a shoot growing from a branch or stem.if a twig is kept in red ink,the pressure of the absorbed red ink same as the way water is absorbed and make it to move upward and show red lines on stem and leaves




this experiment is to understand that a plant observe water.
we can't do it with water coz water is colorless and we can't see the lines
