1 pound = 454 gram = 0.454 kg

1 foot = 30 cm = 0.30 m

now,

mass (m ) = 50 pounds = 50 × 0.454 kg

height (h) = 4 x 0.3 = 1.2 m

work done =mgh

= 50 × 0.454 × 1.2 x 10 joule

= 272.4 joule

rina2112: it's the correct answer thank you very much.......
