A student make circuit with cell , bulb , wire , switch etc. the dipped the two ends of the wire in a solution to indentify whether it is a conductor or insulator?

if the bulb glows it is conductor

if the bulb does not glow it is insulator

now on completing the curcuit put 2 ends of wire in a solution

if on dipping in solution the bulb glows means it is a conducting solution amd if bulb does not glow means it is a insulator
