NaHCO3 (sodium bicarbonate) solution should be added to the pH paper so that its colour changes to greenish-blue.

Explanation:

  • The Yellowish orange colour of the pH paper shows that it is an acidic substance. To change the colour from yellowish orange to greenish-blue, antacid should be added. It is to be noted that antacids have a basic nature.
  • Lemon juice is citric acid. Vinegar is acetic acid. Common salt is neutral in nature. Only sodium bicarbonate can act as an antacid and help in turning the acidic paper into greenish-blue.
