Answer:

Sodium sulphate = Na2SO4

Barium chloride powser= BaCl2

when sodium sulphate and barium chloride are mixed:

They react with each other in the aqueous solution than insoluble BaSO4 (s) PRECIPITATED OUT.

Chemical reaction:

BaCl2 (aq) + Na2SO4 (aq) --> 2 NaCl (aq) + BaSO4 (s)

Answer:

on mixing sodium sulphate with barium chloride, sodium being more reactive displace barium from its solution and form sodium chloride + barium sulphate. student will also observe that a insoluble white colour precipitate of baso4 is settled down in beaker.

reaction

Na2SO4 + BaCl2 ----- BaSO4 + 2NaCl

(white colour precipitate)
