Firstly, we have to find out the correct answer, and then the incorrect answer.
Correct answer ⇒ 7236 × 56 = 405216
Incorrect answer ⇒ 7236 × 65 = 470340
We know that the correct answer is 405216 and the answer given by the student is 470340.
Now, we have to find out that the student's answer (incorrect answer) was greater than the correct answer by how much.
470340 - 405216 = 65124
∴ The student's answer was greater than the correct answer by 65124.

7236 × 65 = 470340
7236 × 56 = 405216
470340 - 405616 = 65124
