A student multiplied a number by 2/5 instead of 5/2. What is the percentage error in evaluation ?

ACTUAL NUMBER =X*5/2=5X/2

WRONG MULTIPLED NUMBER=X*2/5=2X/5

ERROR =5X/2-2X/5

TTAKING LCM 10

SOO 5X/2-2X/5=25X-4X/10=21X/10

%error=error/actual no.*100

%ERROR=21X/10/5X/2*100=21X*2*100/10X*5

ON SOLVING WE GET 84%

SOOO ERROR %=84%
