A student observes the above phenomenon when light passes
through a glass slab.What is the phenomenon called. Why does light
ray bends when it enters from one medium to other.​

Phenomena : refraction of light

Speed of light is different in different medium. When it travels from rarer medium to denser medium it moves towards the normal and opposite happens when it travels from denser to rarer medium.
