A STUDENT OBTAIN A CLEAR IMAGE OF A CANDLE ON A SCREEN WITH THE HELP OF CONVEX LENS HE NOW WANTS TO FOCUS ON A DISTANT TREE AND OBTAIN A CLEAR IMAGE. IN WHICH DIRECTION SHOULD HE MOVE THE LENS IN ORDER TO GET A CLEAR IMAGE?​

The lens should be moved towards screen so that a clear image and sharp image is obtained.

Explanation:

When we move lens towards screen, then object moves farther away from lens. Hence we can consider object at infinity , light rays from infinity incident on convex lens, after refraction converge at focus and image is formed there.
