EVALUATION

Here it is given that a student obtained 15 marks out of 25 in Bengali, 8 out of 15 in English.

So the fraction in case of Bengali

$= \displaystyle \sf{ \frac{15}{25} }$

Now the fraction in of English

$= \displaystyle \sf{ \frac{8}{15} }$

Now the denominators are 25 & 15

LCM of the denominators = 75

$\displaystyle \sf{ \frac{15}{25} = \frac{45}{75} }$

$\displaystyle \sf{ \frac{8}{15} = \frac{40}{75} }$

Since

$\displaystyle \sf{ \frac{45}{75} > \frac{40}{75} }$

So he performed better in Bengali
