a student obtained 30,47,37,25 marks out of 50 in four tests. he has to appear for five tests and wants average of 36 marks in five tests. how many marks he should aim in the fifth test to get the desired average

Let, In the fifth test  he should aim for X marks

average of 5 tests = (30 + 47 + 37 + 25 + X ) /5 =  36

solving for X

X = 41 marks
