Mark in commerce = 82
Weight = 3

Mark in accounts = 89
Weight = 5

Mark in maths = 90
Weight = 3

Mark in english = 70
Weight = 1

Weighted mean = (82×3 + 89×5 + 90×3 + 70×1)/(3+5+3+1)

= (246+445+270+70)/(12)

= 1031/12

= 85.917

Hence weighted mean of the marks is 85.917

(To understand weighted mean in a simple way, just consider instead of getting 82 marks in commerce, you got three 82 marks in 3 commerce subjects and likewise)
