Dear Diary,

I had heard that when we help others we feel good but I had never actually understood the feeling. Today, it was not the same uneventful life. A student of my class was not able to attend the school for a week due to some illness. Today, as he came back to school, I had helped him to catch up with all the work he had missed.

He was so grateful that he immediately went to the class teacher and told her about everything. She was delighted to know about it. She praised me in front of the entire class. I was on the ninth cloud then. If she wouldn't have appreciated my effort, I don't think I would have got encouragement to help more people.

On the whole, it was a fantastic day for me.

Dear Diary,

My friend had gone through a horrible time. She has not be able to attend the school for a week because of her illness. Above all as she missed the classes she was lagging in all the subjects.

I felt very bad that she had missed such important classes because of her illness. I thought that it is my duty as a classmate to help her. So, I sat with her and explained her some important topics. And I also lent her some of my notes so that she can complete her pending works.

The next day my friend told the teacher that I have helped her. The teacher called me and praised me in front of all the students of the class. I really felt proud of myself.
