a student prepare solutions of an acid and a base into separate because she forgot to label the solutions and Litmus Paper is not available in the laboratory since both the solutions are colourless how will you distinguish between the two​

Answer:

In the absence of litmus paper, phenolphthalein can be used. The solution which develops pink colour with phenolphthalein is a  base and the  other is acid.
