A student releases a marble from the top of a 150cm ramp. The marble increases speed steadily and reaches the bottom of the ramp in 4.80s.

From the equation - s = u*t + 1/2*a*t^2 = h = u*t + 1/2*a*t^2

Therefore - 1.5 = 0*t + 1/2*a*4.8*4.8

                   1.5 = 11.52a

                    a = 1.5/11.5 = 0.13

Hence, acceleration = 0.13m/s^2 or 13cm/s^2
