A square root of 16 can be +4 and -4. Both are possible.

Since , (+4)×(+4) = 16

and (-4)×(-4) = 16 [ since yk (-) + (-) = (+) ]

However, in case of cube root , to get 27 as answer , it should be (+3) × (+3) × (+3) , it will be positive and if we talk abt cubing (-3) then it doesn't give us 27. (-3) × (-3) × (-3) = -27 [ which is negative]

Cube root of 27 should be only (+3)
