total number of tests = 4

lets assume that he got x marks in math

so ,(65+55+50+x)/4 = 60

=> 170+x = 240

=> x= 70

so he scored 70 marks in math

Answer:

suppose he scores marks x in maths.

now we have,

marks in I language= 65

marks in Science= 50

marks in ssc= 55

then,.

Average marks=

sum of the total marks in the subjects/ total no. of subjects

so,. 60= 65+50+55+x/4

60= 170+x/4

170+x=60×4

170+x= 240

x= 240-170

so, x= 70

Hence marks in maths = 70
