a student secured 34 % marks in a examination and failed by 25 marks. Another student secured 43 %marks and get 20 marks more than the maximum marks required to pass. find the maximum marks and the pass percentage of marks

LET THE MAXIMUM MARK BE =X
SO 1ST STUDENT
34/100X+25=43/100X-20
25+20=43/100-34/100x
45=9/100x
45*100=9x
4500/9=x
x=500
