The percentage of water absorbed will be more in B than A since B (40 degree Celcius) is maintained at a higher temperature than A (20 degree Celcius). With rise of temperature, endosmosis is quicker.

From the given options (4) is the correct answer. It is exactly twice in B than in A.
Explanation:-
Osmosis
The osmosis is the process in which solvent molecules move from the region of their higher concentration to the region of their lower concentration when both the solutions are separated by semi permeable membrane.
- The rate of osmosis is directly proportional to temperature .
- As we increase the temperature of system the rate of osmosis also increase at the same rate.
Therefore for the given question option 4 is the correct answer.
