Answer:

Distance = 2d

= 2×350

= 700m

speed of sound = V

time = Z × 120

therefore the equation would be like :-

Time = Distance/speed

=> 120Z = 700/V

=> Z = 700/120V

Now, the speed of the sound will give u the time or the value of Z . Just put the speed of sound in the place of V .

hope it helped :)

HELLO DEAR,

Distance of wall from the student = 350m.

Total distace travelled by sound = 2 × 350

= 700m

Time taken to hear echo = (Z×102 )sec

And we know the soeed of sound in air = 350 m / sec. ( approx)

By using the formula ,

Speed = distance / time

time = distance / speed

102Z = 700 / 350

102Z = 2

Z = = 2/102

Z = 1/51.

I HOPE IT'S HELP YOU DEAR,

THANKS.
