A student take 10 ml of rain water in a test tube a and one gram of calcium sulphate added to 10 ml of distilled water in test tube b he added drops of soap solution to both a and b after shaking both the test tubes equal number of time what did the student observed

The student observes that in the test tube where he mixed CaSO₄ with water would give less foam as compared to the other test tube because the water contains salts of Ca which make it hard and normal soaps can't remove it.

In other test-tube there would be much larger foam.
