Acceleration (a) = g (gravitational acceleration) = 10m/s²

v² = u² + 2gs

∴ s = v² - u² / 2g

  = 48² - 16² / 2 * 10

  = 2304 - 256 / 20

  = 2408 / 20

  = 120.40 m

The height of the building is 120.40 m
