a student took x gram of water in a breaker and dipped p gram of resins in it .after keeping rasins in water for 2 hrs he measured the mass of soaked rasins as q grams .he also measured the mass of water left in the breaker which was y grams .on the basis of his observations write the correct formula to find percentage of water absorbed by rasins

new weight of resins(q) -old weight of resins(p) divided by original weight of water(x) times 100
