Answer:

2*10⁻³ N

Explanation:

Pressure p is defined as force exerted(F) per unit area(A). Therefore

p = F/A or F = pA

It is given that

p = 5 Pa = 5 N/m²

A = 4 cm² = 4*10⁻⁴ m²

Hence, F = p*A

= 5 N/m² * 4*10⁻⁴ m²

= 20 * 10⁻⁴ N

= 2*10⁻³ N

Hii.

Here's your answer..

We know the formula for finding PRESSURE acting in any object.

Pressure ( P ) = Force / Area..

P = F/A.

For finding Force we bring the Area or A in LHS. That will Become

Force = Pressure × Area.

F = P × A.

Now you can easily find it..

A = cm² is the area.

P = 0.5 N/ cm² is pressure extended.

Now, solving for F..

Force = Pressure × Area

Force = 0.5 Pa × 4cm²

Force = 2 Newton............... this is your answer..

Thank You..
