As we know that focal length is negative in concave lens so it is a concave lens.

100cm/f. = P

100/ -50 = 2 diopter

Deepsh757: so what is the nature of the lens?

" Bifocal lens "

Since there are two lens on s single lens with the same focal length. We can say nature of lens to be of bifocal lens.

We have,

f = 50 cm

so, p = 100 / f = 100 / 50 = 2 dipotre.

Note, sign convention shall be on the basis of the focal length.
