A student walks 6 meters away taking a time of 3 seconds to do so. The student then stands still for 2 seconds, and walks back towards the origin a distance of 3 meters in the next 5 in seconds. The student stops for a 1 second break and then walks 7 meters back towards the origin and ends up passing the start point. What distance did this student travel? What was their displacement?
