A student want to project the image of a candle flame on screen 80cm in front of a mirror by keeping the candle flame at a distance of 20cm from its pole
a)which type of mirror should the student use ?

Heya frnd!!!!!
Here iz ur answer........
a) The student must use a concave mirror. The reason iz very simple. The student wants the image to b projected on a screen, this can only b done by using a concave mirror cuz a convex one always makes a virtual image...
b)Now, we r given that u=-80cm and v=-20cm...
also we know that Magnification =-v/u
therefore m=-(-80/-20)=-4cm...
c) The distance between the object and the image =(80-20)=60cm.... .
That's all about ur answer....
It's my plzr to help u....
Any further doubt in dis question or other, Ask me.... I will try to help u out...
Thank u :-)
