A student wants to make a basic salt. which of the

To produce a basic salt, we will need a combination of a weak acid and a strong base.

HCl and NaOH are strong acid and strong base respectively. Strong acid and strong base will produce a neutral salt.

H2CO3 is a weak acid and with a  strong base like NaOH, it will produce a basic salt.

NH4OH is a weak base, so with a strong acid like HCl, it will produce an acidic salt.

H2SO4 and  KOH​ are strong acid and strong base respectively.
