A student wants to make a cloud in a jar. The student places very hot water in a glass jar, shakes the jar (with the lid on), and then removes the lid. Steam quickly rises up and out of the jar, and then the steam quickly disappears into the air. Why wasn't the student able to make a cloud in the jar?​
