a student wants to make a cloud in a jar the student places very hot water in a glass jar shakes the jar with the lid on and then removes the lid steam quickly rises up and out of the jar and then the steam quickly disappears into the air why wasn't the student able to make a cloud in the jar

because clouds need surrounding air to be cold but air at ground is not cold enough so the steam rises up and thus disappears

The student was unable to make a cloud because;
the evaporated steam needs to get cool down when it rises to a certain extent.
also after opening the lid the vaporized water gets completely mixed with air.
