(a) concave mirror

(b) flame placed 15cm distance from its pole

so, object distance , u = -15cm

and screen placed 60cm distance from its pole

so, image distance,v = -60cm

Now, magnification = - image distance/object distance = -v/u

= -(-60cm)/(-15cm) = -4

Hence, linear magnification of the image is -4

(c) distance between object and image = distance of screen from pole of mirror - distance of object from pole of mirror

= B'P - BP = 60cm - 15cm = 45cm

(d) A candle , placed at B formed image on screen placed at B' as shown in figure.
