Answer:

Total fine to be paid  = 30

Total amount to be paid including the monthly membership fee = 230

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

The monthly membership fee of  a library = Rs. 200

Fine to be paid after 7 days = Rs. 5 per day.

To find,

The total amount to be paid by the student if he returns a book after 13 days

Solution:

Since, the student returned the book after 13 days,

the number of days fine he has to pay fine = 13 - 7 = 6days

Since the fine to be paid per day = Rs.5/-,

fine to be paid for 6 days = 6*5 = Rs. 30

Total amount to be paid = 200+30 = 230

Answer:

Total fine to be paid  = 30

Total amount to be paid including the monthly membership fee = 230
