ANSWER = 80

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the given number be x,

Original answer = 4/5x

 Wrong answer = x/1  /  4/5

                          = x multiplied by 5/4

                          = 5x/4

So,

5x/4 = 36 + 4x/5

5x/4 - 4x/5 = 36

(25x - 1) / 20 = 36

9x/20 = 36

x = (36 multiplied by 20)  /  9

So, x = 80
