Asked to multiply 3/2,

hence (3x/2)

but he divided by 3/2,

hence he got x/(3/2)= (2x/3)

given, obtained number is smaller by 2/3 than actual number..hence,

Obtained number =actual number -2/3

(2x/3)=(3x/2)-(2/3)

(2x/3)-(3x/2)=2/3

x=4/5
